Sharon “Colleen” James, born and raised in Wichita Falls, joined the BOB team in January 2009. She was previously the General Sales Manager for Time Warner Media sales for 14 years. She also worked at KFDX NBC Channel 3 for ten years. Colleen has won many awards for exemplary sales and customer service including Top Sales Person Of The Year(s), Sales Manager Of The Year(s), and receiving an award as one of the top 5 sales people in the United States by Cable Avails Magazine in 1997! She has been married to Tommy James for 35 years. They have one son, Tyler and daughter-in-law Jessica with grandbaby Madalyne. Her mission is to deliver honest, quality service and consultation to our advertisers to provide successful advertising campaigns…bringing buyers and sellers together. She has enjoyed serving customers as an advertising & marketing specialist for over 28 years, claiming “If I don’t know ya…I’m related to ya!” Her favorite Quote: “If you always do what you’ve always done….then you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten!”
Dana started her radio career 18 years ago at KLUR Broadcasting Company. She has also worked for KAUZ TV and Cumulus Broadcasting Company. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls. Dana graduated from Wichita Falls High School and attended Midwestern State University. She has been married to Rusty Jameson for 13 years. Their daughter Lindsay, her husband Greg, and grandson Sam also live in Wichita Falls. Her weekends are very special because of the time she and her husband spend with Sam.
Travis has worked in commercial production for BOB FM since January 2009. He is currently a senior at Midwestern State University studying for a B.A. in Mass Communication with a Minor in Journalism. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in May 2005. Travis has worked for Berend Turf and Tractor, United Super-markets, Lowes Home Improvement, Facilities at Lubbock Christian University, and Automatic Oasis Sprinkling Systems. He is an Active Brother in Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Theta Gamma Chapter, and he achieved rank in 2002 as Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout. He grew up listening to groups like The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.
Marshall brings over thirty years B2B sales and marketing experience to BOB's Sales team, with most of his career dealing with media and entertainment. Marshall looks forward to meeting the terrific client base BOB has developed over the past few years and wants to assure BOB's Marketing Partners and Future Marketing Partners that his Customer Mindset is focused on the needs of BOB's Marketing Partners and with being a true Customer Advocate while being a Representative of BOB-FM, in Wichita Falls.
John White started working at BOB-FM back in June of 1991 (the station had a country format at the time) as a part-time board operator, working his way into engineering and now serves as the station’s engineer. John is responsible for maintaining the stations broadcast equipment and assists station personnel with technical issues. John graduated from QuanahHigh School and received a degree in microcomputer applications technology from VernonCollege. He also works for Quanah ISD where he has been the district’s technology director since 1997. John also owns and operates Quanah’s only radio station, KOLJ 1150. When John’s not working on some technical project, you can find him watching a NASCAR race or the Dallas Cowboys.
Dan formed Falls Radio, LLC, majority owner of KWFB BOB FM, in 2008. He was formerly Operations Manager for Cumulus Media and Clear Channel Communications in Alabama and South Carolina. Dan was program director of KKRW Houston from 1997-1999 and KRXO Oklahoma City from 1990-1997. Dan is also a Texas certified teacher and has worked for several Dallas area school districts. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Fred is a first generation broadcaster, former disc-jockey, now engineer and station owner based in Houston, Texas. An OU Grad (go Sooners) Fred has built radio stations in Lawton and Altus, Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Sacramento, California.
Fred is married to KT, and has three sons. Fred’s a radio
amateur operator (call sign WB5KRD) and when not doing contract engineering or consulting, he’s busy studying and collecting broadcast history and memorabilia. Fred and company purchased KIXC-FM (now KWFB 100.9 BOB FM) in 2000, and subsequently moved it to the Wichita Falls metro area in April 2007. |
